About Farmer Guava
About Farmer Guava
There is a particular kind of contentment that belongs to those who work close to the earth — the quiet pride of a harvest held in the hand, the warmth of the sun on the back, the satisfaction of abundance grown from patience and care. Farmer Guava by Arty Guava captures that feeling with a softness and warmth that is entirely its own.
A solitary figure sits amid the bounty of a tropical harvest. Dressed in a loose white shirt and golden yellow trousers, a wide-brimmed sun hat shading their face, they hold a ripe orange fruit aloft — a quiet gesture of appreciation, or perhaps an offering to the afternoon light. Around them, the earth is rich with produce: a field of plump watermelons in deep green with their bold striped skins, a slice of one lying open to reveal its vivid pink flesh, clusters of yellow bananas arranged with generous abundance, and in the middle distance, what appears to be a halved melon glowing in warm orange. To the right, a slender palm tree stands against a hazy sage and coral landscape, its fronds dark against the golden sky. Above everything, a soft pale sun hangs in a sky of warm celadon green — gentle and luminous, the kind of light that makes the whole world feel unhurried.
Arty Guava brings to this scene the same painterly warmth and compositional generosity that runs through all of their work. The figure is rendered with the fluid ease of someone deeply comfortable in their surroundings — not posed, but present, absorbed in a moment of quiet communion with the abundance around them. The landscape is soft and layered, built from broad, gestural strokes of sage, coral, terracotta and gold that create depth without detail, atmosphere without fuss. It is illustration as meditation — slow, warm, and deeply satisfying to spend time with.
The colour palette is one of Arty Guava's most harmonious. The warm sage greens of the sky and background hills, the terracotta and coral of the landscape edges, the golden yellow of the figure's trousers, the deep forest green of the watermelons, the blush pink of the cut fruit — all of these work together in a palette that feels simultaneously tropical and Nordic, vivid and restrained. It is a combination that suits a wide range of interior styles and brings warmth without overwhelming.
Farmer Guava works beautifully in kitchens and dining rooms, where the theme of harvest and abundance resonates naturally with the purpose of the space. In a living room, it adds warmth, colour, and a sense of grounded, earthy beauty. In a bedroom, the soft palette and contemplative mood create an atmosphere of calm and rest. It pairs naturally with natural wood, linen, terracotta ceramics, woven baskets, and any interior that celebrates the beauty of the simple and the handmade.
Each print is produced on premium matte paper, which renders Arty Guava's soft, layered palette with exceptional beauty. The sage greens are cool and luminous, the terracotta tones glow with warmth, and the deep greens of the watermelons are rich and satisfying. The non-reflective matte finish gives the print a quality that feels hand-crafted and considered — entirely in keeping with the spirit of the work itself.
Farmer Guava is available in six sizes: A4, 30x40, 40x50, 50x70, 70x100 and 100x140 cm. In smaller formats, the intimacy of the scene is beautifully preserved. In larger sizes, the full richness of Arty Guava's landscape opens up — the watermelons take on presence, the figure gains stature, and the golden sky becomes a room unto itself.
For framing, we recommend a natural oak or warm wood frame to complement the earthy, harvest-inspired palette and reinforce the organic, handcrafted feel of the piece. A simple white or off-white frame also works beautifully, letting the soft sage and coral tones breathe and giving the poster a lighter, more contemporary finish.
Farmer Guava by Arty Guava is a quiet celebration of abundance — of fruit and sun and earth and the simple pleasure of a good harvest. It is art that makes a home feel nourished.
Tips for hanging your poster
Tips for hanging your poster
How to hang your poster – simple and stylish tips
Getting a poster to hang perfectly is all about the small details. Start by choosing the right height — as a general rule, the center of the poster should sit around 145–155 cm (57–61 inches) from the floor, placing it naturally at eye level. Pick a frame that complements both the artwork and the room, and take a moment to measure so everything hangs straight.
Consider the lighting too: natural light makes colours appear vibrant, but avoid direct sunlight to keep the print looking beautiful for years. If you're hanging multiple posters together, begin from the center and keep the spacing consistent for a clean, balanced look.
It's the little adjustments that make all the difference — creating a refined and well-composed result.
Hang your poster with no measuring stress
Use painter's tape for a quick and perfectly straight result:
- Hold your frame against the wall where you want it.
- Place a strip of painter's tape along the top edge of the frame.
- Mark exactly where the nail or screw should go.
- Remove the tape and stick it onto the wall — perfectly level.
- Hammer the nail into the marked spot.
- Remove the tape and hang your poster.
A simple method for a clean, perfectly aligned poster — every time.
