Description
Dandelion is a soft and expressive floral art poster that brings the feeling of a quiet garden into the home. Large, airy flower heads rise across a delicate pink background, surrounded by slender green stems, deep leaves and small white flowers. The composition feels light and spontaneous, yet balanced, with enough space around the flowers to let every detail breathe. The result is a botanical poster with a calm presence and plenty of personality – perfect for interiors where colour should feel gentle rather than overpowering.
The colour palette of Dandelion is especially easy to style. Soft blush pink and powder pink form the background, while the flower heads move through pale cream, dusty rose, muted lavender and warm off-white. Dark blue-green centres create contrast against the light petals and are echoed in small details throughout the artwork. The stems and foliage bring in olive green, moss green, sage and deeper forest tones, creating a natural connection between the soft florals and the richer lower part of the composition.
The painterly quality is an important part of the character of Dandelion. Visible brushstrokes, softly layered colours and slightly irregular shapes give the flowers a relaxed and artistic expression. Rather than appearing precise or botanical in a traditional sense, they feel almost dreamlike – as if a familiar garden has been remembered through colour and movement. This makes Dandelion a beautiful choice for anyone looking for modern botanical wall art with warmth, softness and an individual feel.
In a living room, Dandelion works beautifully above a sofa, sideboard or reading chair, where the pink and green palette can add colour without making the space feel busy. In the bedroom, the soft shades create a peaceful and inviting atmosphere, especially when paired with linen, light wood, cream textiles and muted green details. The poster is also a lovely choice for a hallway, home office or dressing area, where the vertical composition can add height and create an elegant focal point.
For a light Scandinavian look, frame Dandelion in solid oak or white. Oak brings warmth to the pink background and connects naturally with the green foliage, while a white frame keeps the overall expression airy and soft. A black frame creates more contrast and picks up the darker flower centres and leaves, while dark oak gives the artwork a deeper, more grounded feel. In a gallery wall, Dandelion pairs beautifully with abstract art, other floral posters and prints in soft pink, green, cream and blue tones.
The poster is printed on heavy, matte quality paper, which gives the colours a soft, refined appearance and helps preserve the visible texture and depth of the artwork without unwanted shine. The matte surface works especially well with the subtle pink background and the many layered shades in the flowers and foliage.
Dandelion is available in A4, 30x40, 40x50, 50x70, 70x100 and 100x140 cm. Choose a smaller format for a gentle botanical detail, or go large and let the flowers create a striking yet calming focal point on the wall. If you order a frame together with your poster, we frame it for you free of charge.

Our posters are printed on 250 gsm silk paper — a strong, wood-free quality paper with a beautiful semi-matte surface that enhances colours and details without glare. Silk paper is often used for art prints and photography because it delivers soft, natural and precise colour reproduction.
Most posters on the market are printed on 170 gsm paper, but we choose to go a step further. We use 250 gsm because we only want to send out something we would proudly hang in our own home. The extra thickness gives a more solid feel, richer colour depth and a quality that truly lasts.
The paper is Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and FSC-certified, and finished with genuine offset printing and water-based varnish — a combination usually found in far more expensive prints.
At HelloPoster, this means you get premium quality at a price that’s still accessible.
Tips for hanging your poster
Tips for hanging your poster
How to hang your poster – simple and stylish tips
Getting a poster to hang perfectly is all about the small details. Start by choosing the right height — as a general rule, the center of the poster should sit around 145–155 cm (57–61 inches) from the floor, placing it naturally at eye level. Pick a frame that complements both the artwork and the room, and take a moment to measure so everything hangs straight.
Consider the lighting too: natural light makes colours appear vibrant, but avoid direct sunlight to keep the print looking beautiful for years. If you're hanging multiple posters together, begin from the center and keep the spacing consistent for a clean, balanced look.
It's the little adjustments that make all the difference — creating a refined and well-composed result.
Hang your poster with no measuring stress
Use painter's tape for a quick and perfectly straight result:
- Hold your frame against the wall where you want it.
- Place a strip of painter's tape along the top edge of the frame.
- Mark exactly where the nail or screw should go.
- Remove the tape and stick it onto the wall — perfectly level.
- Hammer the nail into the marked spot.
- Remove the tape and hang your poster.
A simple method for a clean, perfectly aligned poster — every time.
