About Dancing Tiger
About Dancing Tiger
Joy, when it arrives, does not always come quietly. Sometimes it leaps — all teeth and stripes and wild, soaring energy — straight into the middle of your afternoon. Dancing Tiger by Arty Guava is exactly that kind of arrival: unexpected, exhilarating, and impossible not to smile at.
The scene unfolds on a sun-drenched beach at the golden edge of summer. Two women in vibrant swimwear — one in terracotta red, one in warm yellow and orange — dance freely on the sand, their bodies loose with the particular joy of movement for its own sake. Above them, a magnificent tiger leaps through the air in full, glorious flight: orange and black-striped, its legs extended, its tail curling behind it like a brushstroke, its face open in a roar that reads as pure, untamed delight. The tiger does not menace — it celebrates. It is as free as the women below it, as joyful, as completely, wonderfully alive.
Around this central scene, Arty Guava has constructed a landscape that hums with warmth and life. A tall palm tree stands to the right, its deep green fronds catching the light. Succulent plants and tropical leaves scatter across the sandy ground. A ribbon of pale blue water edges the lower right corner. In the background, soft sage-green hills curve gently against a warm cream sky, and in the upper right, a bold coral sun burns bright — the same sun that appears across Arty Guava's work, familiar and joyful, like a recurring character in a beloved story.
Arty Guava's hand is unmistakable throughout. The figures are painted with the fluid, generous confidence that defines their figurative work — bodies in motion, rendered without self-consciousness, full of rhythm and personality. The tiger has that same graphic boldness — bold lines, vivid colour, an energy that leaps off the surface. Together, the human and the animal create a composition that is simultaneously playful and deeply felt, decorative and emotionally resonant.
The colour palette is one of warm, sun-soaked joy. Sandy beige and dusty cream form the landscape, while the orange of the tiger and the terracotta and yellow of the swimwear create a vivid, harmonious warmth. The greens of the plants provide contrast and depth, and the coral sun and blue water add accent notes that complete the composition beautifully. This is a palette that makes rooms feel alive — warmer, brighter, and full of the kind of energy that makes you want to stay.
Dancing Tiger works beautifully in living rooms where you want a burst of personality and warmth. In a bedroom, it adds playful energy and a sense of joyful freedom. In a hallway or entryway, it sets an instant mood — welcoming, vibrant, and full of life. It pairs naturally with warm neutrals, rattan furniture, terracotta ceramics, and any interior that embraces colour with confidence.
Each print is produced on premium matte paper, which captures the full warmth and depth of Arty Guava's palette. The tiger's orange burns richly, the sandy tones of the landscape are rendered with beautiful subtlety, and the figures retain all the fluid energy of the original illustration. The non-reflective finish gives the print a quality that is gallery-ready and genuinely special.
Dancing Tiger is available in six sizes: A4, 30x40, 40x50, 50x70, 70x100 and 100x140 cm. Smaller sizes bring a pop of energy to shelves and gallery walls. In the larger formats, the leaping tiger fills the wall with presence and joy — a statement piece that transforms any room it enters.
For framing, we recommend a natural wood frame in oak or warm walnut to complement the sandy, earthy palette and reinforce the relaxed, sun-warmed mood of the piece. A slim black frame also works beautifully, sharpening the graphic quality of Arty Guava's linework and giving the tiger's stripes even more impact.
Dancing Tiger by Arty Guava is a reminder that joy does not wait for permission. It leaps. It dances. It fills the room with orange and warmth and the very best kind of noise. Bring it home.
Tips for hanging your poster
Tips for hanging your poster
How to hang your poster – simple and stylish tips
Getting a poster to hang perfectly is all about the small details. Start by choosing the right height — as a general rule, the center of the poster should sit around 145–155 cm (57–61 inches) from the floor, placing it naturally at eye level. Pick a frame that complements both the artwork and the room, and take a moment to measure so everything hangs straight.
Consider the lighting too: natural light makes colours appear vibrant, but avoid direct sunlight to keep the print looking beautiful for years. If you're hanging multiple posters together, begin from the center and keep the spacing consistent for a clean, balanced look.
It's the little adjustments that make all the difference — creating a refined and well-composed result.
Hang your poster with no measuring stress
Use painter's tape for a quick and perfectly straight result:
- Hold your frame against the wall where you want it.
- Place a strip of painter's tape along the top edge of the frame.
- Mark exactly where the nail or screw should go.
- Remove the tape and stick it onto the wall — perfectly level.
- Hammer the nail into the marked spot.
- Remove the tape and hang your poster.
A simple method for a clean, perfectly aligned poster — every time.
